NASHIA Begins Sensitization, reaffirms agency's 's Commitment towards ensuring enrollees receive high-quality medical care
In continuation of it sensitization campaign, the Nasarawa State Health Insurance Agency ( NASHIA) has commenced the Nasarawa South Sensitization campaign for beneficiaries, lafia local government in particular.
While advocating for more enrollment into the scheme, Pharmacist Kaki Maikudi Kudu, the agency's Director of Health Services Standard and Quality Control reaffirmed the agency's commitment to ensuring that the enrollees receive high-quality medical care with the goal of achieving Universal Health Coverage.
Kaki gave the assurance on Wednesday during the agency's sensitization and awareness campaign for beneficiaries in Nasarawa Southern Zone which held at the Lafia Local Government Secretariat.
Beneficiaries in Lafia were given a thorough explanation of the health services provided by NASHIA by Pharmacist Kaki Maikudi. Topics covered included how to access care when visiting accredited hospitals, how to file complaints, the importance of being fully registered before seeking medical attention, and how the agency and beneficiaries can collaborate.
In their remarks, the beneficiaries expressed appreciation for the NASHIA, saying that the sensitization visit had increased their awareness of the Health Insurance program, just as they also vowed to spread the word about the program's advantages to other individuals.
